Thank you for your willingness to serve and be a part of the amazing team that makes VBS such a great success! We are grateful for your help.
Upward Bound VBS will take place June 16th-20th from 8:30am to 12:15pm. As always, there will be a hospitality room for volunteers to visit during their down time.
We will provide childcare for the nursery age (0-3) children of volunteers. Volunteers must be on site on the days their children are in the nursery. In addition to our K-6th VBS, we will also have a preschool program each day.
If you will be bringing a child newborn - PreK, please indicate below that you need childcare.Jason Henning will be in touch with more information about volunteer assignments and schedules as VBS draws closer. Please contact him with any questions at jason@pinewoodchurch.org.
Classroom Leader: Leading a group through the VBS activities and small group discussion. Please let us know if you have an age preference (PreK-rising 6th) in the comment section below.
Classroom Assistant: Assist a classroom leader in managing a group. See description above.
Kids' Snack Team: Prepare and serve VBS snacks.
Craft Team: Prepare the planned crafts and help children make them.
Recreation Team: Help facilitate recreation time for kids.
Adult Hospitality Team: Help prepare refreshments for our volunteer team.
Music Team: Be a part of our team leading music throughout the week.
Technology Team: Assist with tech production during VBS presentations.
Nursery Team: Care for children of our VBS volunteers (birth-3yrs). Help with VBS activities for this youngest group.
